Joel Silverman launched his JSDT 1,2, and 3 certification courses in January, 2017, and since that time he has certified over 400 trainers. Our courses are targeted toward dog daycare businesses that do not offer dog training, and we will work with you to help you implement dog training in your already existing business. If you already offer dog training, our content we teach will actually compliment, and add to your existing classes. If you are interested in hosting, or setting up a course with us for 2024, please send us a message.
- This is a four-day JSDT 1 Basic Dog Trainer Certification Course, and it offers the JSDT1 Certification.
- This course is for individuals who are looking to becoming a dog trainer with no experience
- There is no other four-day “hands on” basic dog trainer certification course that will offer give individuals this much “hands on” experience in such a short period of time.
- Joel breaks down the behaviors in “easy to follow” 5-7 steps. The great part is that these steps that you learn make it easy to teach your clients
- The dogs Joel works with are your clients UNTRAINED dogs. Every person in the class will have their hands on every dog at every phase of each behavior. And this happens with multiple dogs.
- Distance and Control – Not only does Joel teach you these behaviors, but he does it with distance and control. So many times we see dogs work, but it seems like they can only work only 2-3 ft away from the owner.
- If you do not offer dog training, all the information that is taught will give you three different 6-week classes for a total of 18 weeks.
- If you already offer dog training, a number of trainers with years of experience have gone through our Basic Dog Trainer Certification Course.
- Learn the same techniques Joel has used in the IAMS national commercials and print ads from 1997-2014, as well as the ones he used to train “Dreyfuss” on the top ten TV series EMPTY NEST from 1988-1992. For a look at many more of Joel’s TV and film credits, check out his IMDb page.

One of the most unique aspects about our dog trainer certification courses, is that we are the only one that actually travels to your location, and certifies your staff or trainers at your business. Also no other basic and advanced dog trainer courses break down every behavior like we do.
Owners of dog daycare businesses or professional dog trainers can spend literally thousands of dollars in airfare, hotel, car rental, and meals before they actually pay for the dog trainer certification for an employee or employees. When dog trainers or dog day care owners sign up for our course, they often tell us that our course alone costs almost half of what the total expenses would be for one person traveling to a location. And then the employer would have to pay the cost of the certification itself after that. If you have a group of dog trainers, you are exactly what we are looking for!
